DEADLINE

  • Deadline for receipt of all abstracts: 28 June 2010; 24:00hr
  • All submitters have been notified by July 21st 2010 of abstract acceptance.

TOPICS

Presentations may cover the following topics:

  1. Intracellular iron trafficking, iron chelation and toxicity
  2. Iron and immunity, inflammation, infection and micro-organism
  3. Cellular and mitochondrial iron metabolism
  4. Systemic iron homeostasis and hepcidin
  5. Iron and neurological disorders
  6. Iron overload disorders
  7. Therapies of iron disorders
  8. Others  

CONTENTS
Details regarding the length and formatting: The word limit is 300 to 500 words.

BIOGRAPHY
A short bio should conclude the abstract. It usually needs about 50 to 60 words long.

CONFERENCE BOOK
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference book.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Acceptance of an abstract is conditional upon the presenter registering for the meeting and arranging payment by June 28. 2010.
  • All communication will be with the submitter of the abstract. If the submitter is not the presenter, it is the submitter’s responsibility to ensure that the presenter registers in due time.
  • Any change in presenter must be notified to PAOG-Heyendael by July 21st 2010.
  • PAOG-Heyendael reserves the right to remove abstracts from the program if the presenter has not registered by June 28. 2010.
  • Abstracts not submitted for a lecture are open for a poster.
